Update on Random Dungeon Generator

In this week we received an assignment that acquired me to make some slight changes to the dungeon generator I’m currently working on. One of them being the fact that we will also use the generator to create a 3D version of the 2D zelda clone. The code for the tile and layer classes are still online, however they have been updated with the options of creating a layer on 3D and 2D.

Moreover, I don’t think it would be a good idea to upload the wall and floor layers as of yet since these will also change. The wall layer will also contain the doors that connects the rooms! I thought that if I were to release it now and then change it would be rather confusing so I will post them up once they are finished.

Here are some screenshots of the 2D and 3D versions of the rooms being randomly generated this far, and at least for me, they are beautiful! 😀

This is all for today, I will continue posting updates on this and other projects I’m working on! I am thinking that I will also make a series of posts on a procedural track generator I’m working on for another course.
